General descriptionThe project “Lido” provides reconstruction of historical restaurant “Lido”, construction of a 3-storied exclusive guest house, underground parking place for 44 motor vehicles, tea pavilion and the beautifully landscaped territory with a fountain.
The project hosts a casino, restaurant, hall, and open terrace in the renovated “Lido” restaurant building.
The total area of the land lot is 5165 sq. m.
At the moment, the draft design of the project “Lido” has been developed.

Location
The ground area is located in the very center of Jurmala, between the Jomas Street and Juras Street, opposite of the concert hall “Dzintari”, 100 meters away from the seashore.
The Turaidas Street is the busiest street of Jurmala, along which the tourists and residents of Jurmala walk to the concerts and the beach. There is a quiet Kaudzisu Street on the other side of the ground area, where the private apartment houses are located.
Distance to the Riga airport is 13 kilometers, and to the center of Riga – 23 kilometers.
The urban infrastructure is very well-developed in the area of the residential complex. There is a large pine tree park and tennis courts not far from the site. Many shops, cafes, restaurants, banks, drugstores, night clubs etc. are situated on the Jomas Street. There are several health-improving complexes and various sports clubs in Dzintari and Majori as well. The quality of the neighborhood beaches in Majori and Bulduri have been awarded with the European Blue Flag.
Description of the Project
On the ground area, there is the famous restaurant “Lido” built in the early 20th century, which is an architectural landmark of global importance listed by UNESCO as a cultural heritage site. Representing the functionalism style in architecture, “Lido” has been the symbol of Jurmala outside Latvia during both the pre-war period and the Soviet time.
The wedding of the Prince of Edinburgh and Princess Anna was organized at the restaurant “Lido”.
The new “Lido” in Jurmala will become the center of recreation and entertainment, similar to Monte Carlo. The musical shows and international circus festivals are going to be held at the “Lido”.
The project “Lido” is unique thanks to its location in the very center of Jurmala, the most visited place of the resort city, as well as due to combination of the restaurant, casino and guest house within the same project.

The total living area of apartments of the guest house is 1512.6 sq. m., the total area of terraces of the guest house is 120.4 sq. m., the total area of apartments and terraces is 1693 sq. m. The total area of staircases is 225.5 sq. m., the total area of underground parking is 1113,7 sq. m. The total area of the guest house is 2031.2 sq. m.
The total area of the tea house is 140 sq. m.
The total area of the project is 4692.8 sq. m. The buildup of this site is 40 %.
The guest house apartments will be provided with a fireplace, adjustable microclimate for each room, a separate ventilation and recuperation system, central air-conditioning, several telephone lines, internet connection, satellite TV, fire safety and security systems, and noiseless elevator at the entrance. The whole complex will be ensured with round-the-clock security, as well as video surveillance system.
The area is supplied with the town utilities – gas supply, power supply, water supply and sewerage system, telecommunications.
